This policy explains how AKISS collects, uses and protects the personal information you provide when making an enquiry, placing an order or arranging delivery. Customer information is used only where necessary to provide our services and manage your request.
Information you provide
When you contact AKISS, you may provide information such as your name, phone number, email address, vehicle details, part details and the contents of your enquiry. This information is used to respond to your request and assist with the service you are asking for. The website’s request form prepares a WhatsApp message on your device; it does not upload photos or submit these fields to an AKISS website server. You choose whether to send the message in WhatsApp.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how visitors use the site and to improve its performance and usefulness. Google Analytics may collect information such as website usage, session information, approximate location, and browser or device information. Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-focused and does not collect visitors’ personal data.
Cookies and analytics technology
Google Analytics may use first-party cookies or similar technology to measure website use. The website does not use advertising or marketing trackers. Analytics events are designed not to include customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, vehicle registration numbers, photos or enquiry messages.
WhatsApp and external services
When you choose to contact or follow AKISS through services such as WhatsApp, TikTok or Instagram, your use of those services is also subject to the privacy practices of the relevant service provider.
Your information
You may contact AKISS to ask about information you have provided, request a correction or raise a privacy concern. Ghana’s data-protection framework includes the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
